What is kulfi?
While kulfi is not as well-known in North America, it is a popular frozen dessert in South Asia. Kulfi is often described as Indian ice cream, but unlike ice cream, kulfi isn’t churned. Kulfi is made by slowly simmering milk on the stove until it thickens, which results in a denser and creamier texture than ice cream.
While some of our flavors celebrate our culture and traditions, others are simply just nostalgic. We never shy away from a challenge, so when our friends approach us with ideas for flavors inspired by their own culture and childhoods, we always give it a go! And now some of these ideas have become staples on our menu, such as Vietnamese Iced Coffee.
Although our menu is always changing, one thing remains the same: we only use real fruits, and quality ingredients, and we never add colors, flavors, juices, preservatives, gums, or stabilizers. We’re proud to say that many of our recipes are made with less than four ingredients and all our kulfis and ice pops are handmade in small batches right in our shop every single day!
In honor of the city we love, this creamy pop is made with rose water, roohafza, cardamom, and pistachios.
This mango and yogurt combo is our most popular flavor!
Loads of pistachios and saffron with a touch of cardamom.
If you’re looking for the most authentic kulfi flavor, this is it! This classic sweet milk flavor is anything but basic.
Mango and malai come together to create this extra creamy mango kulfi. We named it Major Mango in honor of Gagan’s dad, an army major who was known for his mango ice cream.
We combine cocoa powder and chocolate chips to give this flavor an extra rich chocolate taste and balance it all with a hint of sea salt.
We called this one Chai Chai as a dig at “chai tea” but we promise this isn’t your coffee shop’s chai.
Cookies and Cream
Vanilla kulfi base combined with oreos – lots and lots of oreos!
We created our own ricotta ice cream base and combined it with marionberry jam made in-house and topped with a graham cracker crust.
When we can’t find marionberries, we make a raspberry version of our Marionberry Cheesecake.
Roasted Strawberries & Cream
We roasted the strawberries to keep this one as creamy as possible and the result was an instant hit!
This flavor was created as a camp-themed collaboration with Zuckercreme. We created a peanut butter kulfi base and added oreos – if you know, you know!
Side Yard Baklava
We teamed up with Stacey from Side Yard Farm to create this baklava kulfi. She made us her mom’s baklava and we chopped it up into our vanilla kulfi base.
We worked with Hungry Heart Bakery to bring this flavor to life. We add their chocolate chip cookie to our vanilla kulfi and add blue spirulina to turn it blue!
Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake
This pop has a ricotta and pumpkin base that’s combined with fall spices and is topped off with a spiced graham cracker crust.
Strawberry Mint Lemonade
Real strawberries, real mint, and real lemon juice create this refreshing ice pop without the artificial flavors!
Blueberry Basil Ginger Lemonade
Our Strawberry Mint Lemonade Pop was such a hit, we had to make another lemonade pop. This one comes with a bit of bite!
We couldn’t resist taking a stab at the classic rocket pop, but we also couldn’t stand the idea of juices and flavorings. We used strawberries, blueberries, and coconut milk to achieve a red, white, and blue pop with all the flavor and none of the bad stuff.
We created this flavor specifically to be combined with a cocktail for Cully Central, but it quickly became a fan favorite!
Vietnamese Iced Coffee
This pop is made with a 50/50 blend of Vietnamese Robusta and Arabica beans from Portland Caphe. We grind the beans just before brewing, brew them in small batches, and keep it vegan by using coconut condensed milk.
Jackfruit Coconut Lime
We created this flavor as a collaboration with Thuy from Mama Dut Foods. It’s creamy, light, and refreshing all at the same time!
Mango Thai Chili
A whole lotta mango and just the right amount of heat. We highly recommend pairing this with a shot!
Someone asked us, “Is this what heaven tastes like?” and we think it might be just that!
A creamy coconut base combined with toasted coconut flakes.
We still haven’t decided if this flavor is genius or if we were just out of our minds because it’s a lot of work! Each layer is made of different fruits (and even vegetables!) like strawberries, pineapples, blueberries, spinach – just to name a few. Look for it in June!
Fresh-squeezed orange juice is the main ingredient in this pop and we highly recommend combining these with champagne!
This pop is super simple and super delicious! Made with local apples from Douglas Farm, we let the apples be the star of the show by adding only a touch of sugar and nothing else!
Falooda & Floats
We now have faloodas and floats available in our shop! Our faloodas are available in rose, mango, or our dairy-free mango coconut flavor.
Our floats are available in root beer, cream soda, or orange. They come with a vanilla kulfi and are topped with whipped cream and sprinkles!
